Just got my Mklll Escort XR3 in black, its been on order since April, once i learn to download pictures i will put some up

Sorry mate, whilst I applaud your enthusiasm for your car, this is probably the wrong site for Mk3 Escort posts. Whilst generally we recognise that the mk3 is seen as a classic in many circles we don't recognise it as an Old skool ford.

 

This may seem harsh but it's not intended to be so, after all any club can decide what cars are eligible for membership on its books. There are plenty of clubs, sites and forums that do cater for the mk3.

 

That said we welcome all members of the site regardless of whether they actually own an OSF and hope to convert you to the wisdom (and fun) of rear wheel drive

Is that the Die cast legends mk3? If so whats the qulity of it like?

Yes it is the diecast legends model and the detail is very good except for the rear spoiler,its in gloss black instead of matt but it goes nice with my other Fords i.e: Mkll Escort 1600 Sport,Mkl Escort RS1600,Mkl Capri RS2600 and Mkl Lotus Cortina (hope thats oldskool enough for u Vista)
