ZetecVan 2.0 Posted September 1, 2007 Report Posted September 1, 2007 A few years ago I found a Prefect with 42000 miles on the clock for a bargain price but it was in Kent. And it needed trailoring back. So I borrowed a car off a director from the company I was at, cos it had a tow bar, hired a trailor, drove down to Kent at 60mph, picked the car up, drove to Kingston-upon-Thames to pick up something else I'd bought off ebay, and drove home at 60mph. All by myself. It took me about 12 hours and I didn't moan once. Just do it Antz.... live a little...
cyrix Posted September 1, 2007 Report Posted September 1, 2007 Essex can be done in 4 and a half hours from Whitby where I work. Take some mates, make a road trim of it. If i'm on business I can be there and back before 12 if I need to, the UK is a really small place lol.

MK5 Posted September 1, 2007 Report Posted September 1, 2007 my friend lives in Woking. she just bought a car from Chesterfield. small problem, she doesn't have a driving licence, not even a provisional... so we made a day trip out of it, caught the train up there and i drove back if you want something bad enough you'll find a way, and not make excuses and then there was the time i was living in Devon and wanted to move to Surrey, 6 weeks after major surgery... still managed to find a flat, put my stuff in storage and move like i said, if you want something bad enough you'll find a way, and not make excuses

antz Posted September 2, 2007 Author Report Posted September 2, 2007 cheaper and easier to courier it in the end its 250miles away and would cost me a lot in fuel in a big volvo tank so ill let parcel force do it for me
