Speedy1 Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 My car is a bog standard 1978 1.1L fiesta. I was given this car for free, the old boy who gave it to me was 88 yrs old and bless him he couldn't park it anymore due to the lack of power steering. He was the one and only owner before i got it and even more amazing is that it only has 22k on the clock! I was given all service receipts and old mots to back this up!! Needs a set of alloys as i hate the standard 12" steels. Anyway the pics, i have only cleaned the car up, it's pretty much how i got it....
beedz Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 very nice mate, other than the wheels I wouldn't touch that at all - spot on!
Burns Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 clean the steelies up and get it dropped 2" nice car dude
Pye Man Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 Very clean and straight. I like it a lot
Speedy1 Posted September 5, 2007 Author Report Posted September 5, 2007 I did consider getting a set of 13'' steels from a mk2 with a set of ford trims, dunno yet lol
Contract Man Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 Looks tip top mate. Wished someone would give me something like that. Agree, needs rims and a 2'' drop
Speedy1 Posted September 5, 2007 Author Report Posted September 5, 2007 needs rims and a 2'' drop Agreed! Just replaced one headlight as the bottom mounting was rusted away otherwise in bloody good nick for it's age. Has had a plate welded on the lower front beam but no other welding done that i can find. Few more pics...
Copey Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 awesome!! and 1 owner from new!! well now 2, and 22k hardly been used!! looks very clean
ilovegrannys Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 FREE!! The best price!!! looks the bizzo!!!
MattJ Posted September 6, 2007 Report Posted September 6, 2007 Great find mate. Try and keep it standard, stik to 13" rims and drop it a little. Other than that it looks the business.
Speedy1 Posted September 26, 2007 Author Report Posted September 26, 2007 Update, now the mondeo has had it's work done i can now concentrate on the fiesta. more to follow soon.

Mart Posted October 1, 2007 Report Posted October 1, 2007 i prefer the look of supersport alloys to pepperpots, how about going against the grain and stickin on some 6x13 weller steel rims juat paint em up whatever colour you fancy
