  1. I have been for the last 2 years and for a fiver you can't complain. The Auto jumble has got bigger each time, but from memory there was not alot of food stalls You can camp on the Saturday night which will be doing, but there is no entertainment, so you have to make your own like the Transit boys did one year Bob the organiser bet us we could not get 50 Corsairs there this year as its the 50th Anniversary.....
  2. Nice photos, it was quite a good turn out. Blue Thames did it for me
  3. You may well have a point, my V4 bellhousing is very shallow
  4. Anyone know if Essex V4 and 3.0 litre V6 bellhousing bolt pattern is the same OR if the V6 bellhousing pattern changed at all for diferrent applications (Scimitar) I thank you
  5. The queue from the main gate to the show area can be an hour long, which is shite. Camping for me and for me
  6. Corsairs are the way forward Agreed keep the tiger fur Lotus steels and bin off the mirrors
  7. Car is looking good, wheels looking the nuts!
  8. 2 days deffo ( 1 day for the show - 1 day to get out) No plastic either day
  9. Its gotta be two day, the event has turned into an animal now!
  10. OK STUPID QUESTION TIME. I am looking every where for a set of uprated front inserts for a MK 1 Capri 1971 - Rally Design and Spax have both drawn blanks!!!! Is everyone just using Mk 111 struts and if so is the distance between the stub and the bottom spring cup the same? I am trying to lower the car, so any increase in distance here will be counter productive? I am now totally out of ideas
  11. Maybe if there was less plastic there I would not have had to queue up for 2 hours to get out the show. Our stand was in the far corner in the middle of the plastic pig farm I followed a 2007 Mondeo out the carpark and just thought why are you here....my everyday car is older than that.
  12. I liked this months, not sure if it was the revamp but it was the best one for a while
  13. I have always been lucky at buying cars, dont think i have had a bad one yet With a pair of cars like you have, you must have a lot of luck yourself I looked at 20 Mk 1 capris for nearly 15 years before I found this one. I must have looked over 100 cars over the last 20 years and 98 of them were dogs
  14. Are you sure you don't make these cars yourself..... Or are you the luckiest man in the world when you go looking
  15. That must have hurt......................................... alot
  16. the council must know who the lock up is rented out to? I reckon rescue and ask questions later
  17. Think we need to pick a venue that already houses a big car meet, so at least we clear one hurdle straight away and this reduces the amount of time we are going to be told to fook off.
  18. Not sure if it matters if the run is to Brighton or not. The marina was a fair venue, but for me going round the M25 in a convoy 40+ old fords was what it was all about. Once it got to Pease pottage it died off and there were loads of clumps of cars after that. Anywhere on the coast is good for me
  19. Hello mate I totaly forgot about them....what a tool. looked on the bay and it seems double dear
