after 8 years of driving i have just recieved my first points for speeding got done by a camera doing 36 in a 30. Its even more annoying that it happened when i was at work in the work van. Does 3 points have much effect on insurance etc?

i got 3 points early this year....made no difference to insurance has most people will have 3 points

SP30's tend to make no diffrence mate! you have to remember that most of the population has some sort of speeding offence on there licence!
