stoppodriver Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 Is the autojumble any good ? Have been to few very disapointing ones this year , would like to know if anyone who regulary attends thinks it's a good one or not ? Regards AL.

Nettles Posted September 21, 2007 Report Posted September 21, 2007 Is the autojumble any good ? Have been to few very disapointing ones this year , would like to know if anyone who regulary attends thinks it's a good one or not ? Regards AL. All depends on what your building. I’ve been to this venue a couple of times this year and found that the auto-jumbles have been aimed more towards Escorts, Capri’s and 105e Anglia’s. If like me your building an earlier Ford the parts are harder to find. There’s usually a very good turn out of OSF’s on show so it’s deffo worth having a look. It’s also deffo worth entering your car into the show so that you can take advantage of the free entry. But don’t get too excited about the free show plaque you’ll receive.
BudgieV8 Posted September 22, 2007 Author Report Posted September 22, 2007 Mmmmmmm.... ....Show plaques Worth a trundle around the stands as its billed as an Autojumble rather than a Show n Shine. - I've found in the past that this show being close to season-end (traders need to shift the stock/need money for chrimbo) & its proximity to Dagenham (most peeps around the area used to work at Fords) that a lot of hard to get 1960 - 1980 Ford stuff turns up for reasonable money Usually have Burton Power etc traders stands as well.
pelvins Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 whats wrong with the plaque ? , looks good to me
Nettles Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 Yeah it’s not on mate. You turn up at the show expecting a decent plaque and all they give you is some poxy piece of tin with a bright orange Triumph Herald on it.
