Mine don't like standard unleaded but I've found it seems to run better on Tesco's 'super' than it does on Shell Optimax/vpower for some reason. I use whichever one I'm near to at the time which is normally Tesco.

when i had my pinto total advance 33 deg. & compression 13.1 mate

dragaddict. Hi there. What fuel were you running 13.1 with 33 degrees?

I run V power with millers VSP but with much less compression and advance in my pre-crossflow. I don't think it would like much more as it has a tiny rattle as it comes on song. Would extra compression, timing and octane make much difference in your opinion / experience?

the pinto that i had i gave her normal pump gas with 13.1 comp. & total advance 33deg & i gave her 150bhp of nos with 8 deg retard when switched on but still with pump gas. but i'm the to you guys it is a bit riski for the engine thow. but it ran fast for those days. about 7 years ago
