When i said mine is the yellow mk2 escort he replied "Thats bit of an odd car to bring to a classic car meet" I mean WTF it was older than 2 of the Triumphs there!!!! lucky for him im a layed back sort of guy but i was a bit gob smacked.

I'm sure most people few classics as having their own qualities and the more people at these shows the better. Don't worry about it, he probably enjoyed the run home in his diesel Rover 200 as well.

I was thinking along the lines of anything that wasn't an MG wasn't a classic. I once drove an MGBGT and it was the worst pile of shite I've ever driven.
