Just watching the Placebo gig we went to in London earlier on in the year.

what are they like live? as I rather like placebo.

Also does anyone else on here listen to icp?

Loved em. The dvd doesn't do them justice. If you can get to see them live, do. I want to see them again.

Hey Joe!

I'm with ya buddy! J5, DJ Format, etc. are very prominent on my MP3. I know what you mean about decent Hip-Hop. Great breaks with interesting worthy lyrics is all good in my book.

Though I'm not into this "fiddy" shit! I don't understand how modern rappers (and I shudder to call them that) carve out careers making records out of just bigging themselves up. then have the audacity to talk about the depth of their music....I mean it's good for maybe a song, but a whole album!!

Music-wise, I am all over the shop. Other albums on my MP3 (which I guess to be a good indicator) are:

Chemical Brothers

Michael Jackson - Off The Wall (everything after just didn't have the same quality)

The Freemasons

The Cardigans

Muse

Dropkick Murphys

Led Zeppelin (Prayin' that I get tickets)

Queens of the Stone Age

The Arcade Fire

Kate Rusby (Yes, folk music)

The Egg

Prince

JJ Cale

The Smiths

Pendulum

The Orb

The Faces (Rod Stewart when he was bang on the money)

and some Miles Davis 8)

Basically, I can listen to and enjoy almost anything. The only big exception is shrill female operatic voices. Just unpleasant on the ear.
