Fiesta Steve Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 A big thanks to everyone that turned up to the Ashford meet, what a turn out car park overflowing as usual Hope nobody minded the Yanks that turned up, no one knows who arranged it on the same night as our meet but personally I don't mind looking around other cars and don't mind a Mustang and it all just added to the great atmosphere A really big thanks to JohnnyH and Rustypup who came down to the meet after going to Shakespere, proper hardcore Also thanks to everyone for behaving themselves as the owner was on site and doesn't take kindly to his tarmac being ripped up Also well done to those that ran good times at shakespere, James Harris, Toby Kent, Darran Moss, Big Baz to name a few. Sorry I couldn't be there to see the action but will be back in black next year to show you all how its done FWD style The next Ashford Meet will be in December, date TBC.

RUSTYPUP Posted October 1, 2007 Report Posted October 1, 2007 Nice one Steve. The meeting was great and I love to see a bit of variety there. I have brought my truck along before. Variety is the spice of life and all that. I had an excellent weekend. Was less than 0.05 off running a 14. Less breakfast next time and it should do it. Johnny's Mex and my Tina behaved very well, so it would have been rude not to bring them along for dinner.l See you at the next one

Im fussy though and wont bring it out to play until everything is done exactly how i want it to be.......

Same here, only got to refresh (regrind, lol) the engine but haven't even seen the car since FordFair, I'll probably make a start in the new year and leave it to the last minute as usual Round 1 is the aim.

Theres only a certain amount of hours left after working all day that it can be done and i certainly dont expect dad to do it by himself or during his working day when he could be out earning money!!
