if a 1600 mk2 escort radiator will fit on a 1300?

 

My rad gave up the ghost on the way home from work, glad i live at the bottom of a hill.

 

any guidance gratefully received.

normally most 1600 and 1300 x/f parts are listed as the same

Ive done that swap the other way around

you can swap them but i think the 1600 is a bit taller iirc

i have a 1600 rad in my 1300 mk2. its just a bit taller goes in fine

if anything it will have an extra core or 2 which might sudjest why its taller

 

no reason why it wont fit though

My 1.1 rads got two cores i dont think they changed that on the size of the lump

it'll go fine but if you need i got a 1300 rad for sale if you want it!

as said its just taller works fine

or you should be able to get it re-cored for 50 notes-ish.
