johnny_h Posted October 23, 2006 Report Posted October 23, 2006 After almost 10 years being off the road a round trip of 120 miles the mex only suffered a blown manifold gasket and a loose coil lead that kept popping off the dizzy at high revs. Got to the ACe with no windscreen wipers and saw some coool motors, good to meet some of you too. Shame about the rain

Took me 3 feckin hours to get there and didn't get home til 12.45 either cos the M25 turning off the M40 was shut and there were no signs telling you about it until you were on the junction so ended up going into Slough and then M4 and blah, blah, blah. Anyway, well done to all those "HARDCORE" Old Skoolers who managed to make it there
