we all have heard the one f 'what happens when an unstoppable object hits an unmovable object' and relating this to cars we all know volvos are indestructible!....

 

so...

 

what would happen when 2 volvos hit each other?

 

would they bouncew off each other like marbles

Didnt 5th gear do a test with a Volvo and and a small car....then cant rem if they did 2 volvos......

Did you not see the recent show where they crash tested a 90's Volvo (you know, the tank like box shaped once made from railway tracks and cast iron) in a head on collision with a newish renault modus?

 

 

 

 

 

I think it may have been 5th gear, but if you don't know the result, they'd probably surprise you. The Volvo was minced by the renault and it's front seat occupants would have had serious life threatening injuries (if they weren't already dead) and the occupants of the modern car would have possibly have walked away.

my mum wrote off a volvo with a mini

i rember seeing one of them crashing a volvo into the back of a panda, its rear wheels were about touching the fronts

 

and i still say old volvos are absolute tanks heard so many stories about them writing other cars off with only a scratch to themselves the best being....

 

stationary transit on a motorway silly doris doing her make up oblivious to stationary traffic (shes in a 480) transit gets flipped into the field and lands on its roof and she climbs out un hurt

 

mates 240 sat in traffic something went into the rear of him wrote that off and the week old BMW infront, volvo lived to tell the tale with a scoffed bumper

 

i tryed long and hard to kill mine, weight stripping it with a sledge hammer.........it didnt quite work though, i never did ge the damn bumper off

i got a 1ft long tow bar out the back of mien that weights about the same as the car should give a bit of impact!
