Like some kind of unstoppable televisual chrysalis, UKTV G2 has evolved into a brand spanking new channel known simply as Dave. This is particularly exciting if you happen to be called Dave, because you can pretend that we named a television channel after you. Your mates will be amazed.

They even asked whats my favourite show and i said Top Gear, thats why its always on, is that not proof enough?

As there were a couple of girls with us, I said "Oh you DAVE" rather than the usual "Oh you c**t", so the term Dave stuck when we refer to anyone as a c**t. So when we all went out for a curry last week, I told him about the new channel called Dave as it seemed quite appropriate
