I hate modern cars!

why did qwik fit drop rear subframe to fit an exhaust?????? never in my life have i had to do that to a mondildo.

The new back box joined further forward and they couldn't get it in with out dropping the rear , this is what i was told after i went back cos it had been into fords to sort the rear tyre wear

That was the last modern car i got for me mum after that she had a Mk2 transit camper for 5 years followed by a Mk2 granny and then a Mk5 corty estate ever since then i just pop in the garage and grab a spare whateverhasbroken

Must say I like nice modern cars , as thats what I have to work on for a living , most of them are under 5 years old so nothing is rusted on and comes off nice and easy .

Spend most of my time doing electrical faults as well , so don't really even have to get my hands dirty .

 

Then at the weekends its Anglia time , so I have the best of both worlds

Have to agree with most of that, you dont have to worrie if the old bolt will strip and brake and there not covered in too much dirt and grime. Just some of the bloody Elec faults that you come across that are anoying, never come across so many broken wire recently!!
