MK II Mark Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 to help finance the re-build on the MK 1 shell that i'm getting. The spec is as follows:- Freshly built 2.0 pinto with ported head, FR 32 cam and Bike carbs. new WCXM. Type nine 5 speed box with quick shift and large gearbox tunnel. New single piece prop. New 116lb single leaf springs and GAZ adjustable rear shockers. Capri Bilstiens on the front. 7 x 13 Superlights. I have put new sills and rear arches on it but the wing rails are starting to go and will need doing within the next couple of years. I am thinking about asking £2,500 grand for it, is this about right or am I dreaming. I might break it if noone wants it.

MK II Mark Posted October 23, 2007 Author Report Posted October 23, 2007 sell it to 4 hire on the isle of man ! then ian corkill's son can bring it over here and use it as a everday car to college (long story but ian's son connor is doing the same course as me at college) Ian Corkills got some nice Old Skool Fords and he could gladly have it if he wants to add it to his already impressive old skool fleet. Ask Connor if he wants it (he says cheekily)

mossy Posted October 24, 2007 Report Posted October 24, 2007 is a lovely motor and well worth the wanted price! or....you could keep it and get a loan!
Slik 50 Posted October 24, 2007 Report Posted October 24, 2007 I think that 2.5k in todays osf market may be a bit low One of the customers at work heard of a mk2 rolling shell that need quite a bit of work. No interior, no engine, and a few hole here and there. He bought it for £200 and advertised it staright away, He ended up taking £800 for it Now I dont like the current trend of cashing in on the OSF scene and the ever increasing and sometimes crazy prices that some OSFs now demand but I would take what I could get to help finance the new project. Advertise it for a high price then take it from there
MK II Mark Posted October 24, 2007 Author Report Posted October 24, 2007 I hear what you say Slik, I may advertise it for 3k if its gotta be sold...
