X-pack-Glyn Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 surely that would be a bargaining tool for the buyer, think of the brakes that have been riden, worn clutch, scrapes on bumpers etc...
tazrocks88 Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 they see it as a thing 2 say this car has been looked after!!! (not ragged everywhere)
cyrix Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 Had this conversation with a guy when we were in town getting lunch watching an old guy reverse out of a space, he must have been on the limiter the noise the car was making. Not a selling point as far as I am concerned.
Admin Mk2Jo Posted October 30, 2007 Admin Report Posted October 30, 2007 It is because we are careful, sedate, conscientious and responsible drivers ..... you wouldn't find us hanging it round a roundabout or bouncing off the limiter or burning out the tyres now would you Therefore ..... a car owned by a doris would be a well looked after car

sab6024 Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 For me it means....don't ask me any questions about the car coz I'm a doris and I'm supposed to know nothing about it. Saves me telling porkies later
