What is my best option?

After much thought I am going to modify the estate. I plan to lower it after i am back on my feet and fit new alloys.

 

Now as it stands I have the standard 1.3 engine, kent or crossflow not sure really????

 

Am i better to mod that or just go for a new engine. Any ideas, engine types, cost etc would be great.

from a cost point of view a simple 1600 swap would give you an instant increase, but it depends on your budget mate

 

How much do you wanna spend on an engine?

I don't really have a budget in mind mate. I guess a few hundred at the moment but something I can then add to and improve in the future. How much would a 1600 be and is it an easy swap?
