Mr Sam Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 wonder what its like when you crank up a welder
Mk1-Maher Posted November 5, 2007 Author Report Posted November 5, 2007 i wouldnt mind finding out actually thinking of giving that a bash myself too, even wonderd if it might cope with the small compressor im thinking about buying soon
w p e Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 make sure you mix the 2 stroke oil correctly as its not 4 stroke . and no it wont run a welder/compressure its only 850w max it might run a very small comp
Cookie Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 wonder what its like when you crank up a welder No hope i'm afraid My last workshop had no power, so I bought a 2.8kva petrol genny, used to use it for running strip lights and drill/ grinder etc, also got a sealey mini mig thing that i bought years ago, only a baby welder, not even fitted with proper welding torch, would fire the welder , all the strip lights would go out, but would not penetrate any metal wotsoever, just sort of dripped on in a solder way, to run a welder you will need a big kva genny, and as I found out when looking big kva means big ££
Mk1-Maher Posted November 5, 2007 Author Report Posted November 5, 2007 my hopes are dashed wayne your making it more expensive for me haha
w p e Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 look before you leap my man ive got one it runs my lights and fridge at motocross meets thats about it also runs the drill and grinder
Mk1-Maher Posted November 5, 2007 Author Report Posted November 5, 2007 seriously tho wayne at the mo all i really need it for is a drill for striping and a light cheers for letting me know its limits
