What is the difference? (x-flow related question)

When talking crossflow what is the difference betwen a 691M block and a 711M block?

711m block is usually thought of being the better, stronger and thicker walled i believe..

691 is an early block,771 is the later,escort,i think 771 has 5 main shell where a 691 only has3,sure there more difference but that only 1 i can think of atm

isnt it 681? Thought the 711m had thicker side walls so was more "boreable"

the 711m has heavier cam followers as far as i no as well
