Paint code

i need to find out what colour the hearing aid is

 

 

Halfords are useless.... my ford dealer cant help.... is there anywhere online i can look to find the paint code????

 

all the chasse plate says is "F1".... now looking through some colour chips and the dates they were produced im thinking its eaither coral beige or s*erra-beige (bloody word filter... "sierra beige")

 

 

can anyone help?

Are you sure its 'F1' as according to my book that would make it purple velvet or oyster gold and niether of those colours was available in 81/82.

 

Now if the code said 'P1' it would probably be "Cordoba Beige" which i think sounds more likely.

there's a company on the internet called paints4u where i got some sebring red in a spray can and it was a top match. The website lets you search for ford colours in any given year and it gives you the codes as well:

i'v used these guys before to find some lagune blue for my mate mk2 tina... and that was a spot on match... give or take a little bit for 30 years of fading

im colour blind so who cares. someone told me my pink anglia was blue
