thelastbandit Posted December 13, 2007 Report Posted December 13, 2007 Not sure if it's going to be replaced by a wall though, last time I was there, they were talking about it on the tannoy and I'm sure they said that there was going to be a new building there from which you could still watch the action, but maybe from behind protective glass...I could be wrong but I am sure that's what they said. Even so still sad to see a piece of Pod history get demolished!

Tell me though, has there ever been such a claim on Santa Pod for any injuries sustained in the shed? Or have there ever been any injuries serious enough? Come on Gordon, stop being such a cock!
johnny_h Posted December 23, 2007 Report Posted December 23, 2007 this is crap!!! i remember my dad sitting me in there for the first time when i was about 5 years old and me hiding behind the metal fence and peeping through the gaps at the jet car giving the barn a good kicking cos i never had the bolarks to stand up and take the full brunt , my dad told me that if i wanted to see it i had to see it from the barn cos it was the best place , i will never forget sitting in that poxy first aid tent getting my eyes cleaned with optrex afterwards (yeh cheers dad) ..................... I'm so glad I got Emma's boys to see the jet car from the barn on my last trip to the pod. At least they can say they were there before H&S twats stuck thier poxy noses in. R.I.P the barn.
