No way mate  Ive got to run it in and have it mapped first. When ive got it in the engine bay i then have to buy more goodridge hose fittings and hose, mod my intercooler pipe to clear the air filer hose. Its gonna take a little while to get it done. Im hoping to be ready for central day but im not banking on it.

Green injectors will be fitted after ive run it in. Thermostat housing is now fitted too.

Anyway heres the pics

Cheers mate, all depends whats wrong with your turbo i suppose. Dont go buying one for £900 cos you can buy a new core (center section of the turbo) from essex turbos for around £440. Then i could fit your old exhaust housing and compressor housing, ive done this so many times i could do it with my eyes closed

This would be with a 360 degree beraing and cut back blades, good for 2.0 bar! Well my old one was and that lasted all the time i had it :ykt:

Im hoping to be out asap, but not rushing it

Heres some pics of todays work :D

Well i was off work today and was supposed to go and pick my engine up,but Joe had to go to belgium with an engine for a customer. So i thought i would crack on and do some bits on the car.

First job was to get the dummy block and head out of the bay, along with the gearbox.

Then i painted the engine mounts and the crossmember. and polished the whole engine bay.

Then i cleaned the bay up and tidied up my heat shield on the inner wing, its much easier to do without the engine in the bay .

Then afterwards i just stared at the aeroquip fittings for a bit

Then i stared at some of the braided hoses

So all in all ive had a very productive day. Now the bay is all ready for when i collect the engine tomorrow afternoon :ykt:

I can get most of the stuff connected back up apart from a few bits that are at my local alloy welders. Once ive got the engine in and bolted up i can then sort out re-aligning my intercooler pipe to clear the air filter hose,so that means another trip to hainult to the alloy welders :?

Well its done,a week and a half of graft, late nights in the garage,3am one night

But i can chill out a bit now. Went out for a test run tonight, all seems ok. Just got to put some miles on it now (boring in slow motion mode) :(

Heres some pics.

First of all is my alimax gearstick surround, which didnt fit my car cos of the pro 5.0 shifter i am running,so out with the angle grinder and two hours later it fitted
