Cookie Posted November 18, 2007 Report Posted November 18, 2007 Yea wack it outside for a few days mate, maybe even add water to taste
over_head_cam Posted November 18, 2007 Report Posted November 18, 2007 If it's die cast it would probably be an aluminium alloy, and won't rust
Trevmk3 Posted November 18, 2007 Report Posted November 18, 2007 If it's die cast it would probably be an aluminium alloy, and won't rust true if it is a steel one then i would leave in salty water for a bit, shat would do the job
hellblue Posted November 18, 2007 Report Posted November 18, 2007 Paint it & whilst the paint is wet drop some iron filings on it,then put it outside
atomic punk Posted November 18, 2007 Report Posted November 18, 2007 Mix up some rust coloured paint using humbrol enamel, mix some talc or fine sand in with it, then dab it on with an old paintbrush
NHR115 Posted November 18, 2007 Report Posted November 18, 2007 Cant you buy rust from model shops? I'm sure i've seen it somewhere.
baz105e Posted November 18, 2007 Report Posted November 18, 2007 put some vinegar in a jam jar with a METAL LID then pop in some wire wool and leave it a couple of weeks. = a pot full of rust
