Its an engine of its own, something about it helped with the duratech design tho.

I think it's the 'Zeta' engine, similar to the DOHC from the Mk5 16v, etc.

This came before the Zetec, then the Duratec, etc.

around 130 gee gee's ot the box though so its not that bad - the only thing that really goes wrong with them is a tendancy to blow a head gasket and need welding around no.4 cylinder on the head

the engine that joker uses is a ford F14 block but it,s no pinto m8
