Did the Grafters pages seem poor to only me this issue (Dec 2007)? I mean a wrecked and rusty 1.6 Capri with 2 days spent on it?????? And quotes of having this Zakspeed bit and that Zakspeed bit but no pics of them.

Seemed a complete waste of pages which could have been filled much better. The feature might have stood up a year down the line with some progress but tbh i've seen better motors in scrapyards :?

Am I missing something?!? Was it featured because it was a girly owner or did you simply have nothing more worthwhile to feature???

I didn't commission the shoot, but I can imagine part of the appeal was that it was a girl reader, so a little different from the norm.

I agree it was probably done too early in the rebuild, though.

BTW the feature didn't say that Zakspeed parts were present and going to be fiited, only that down the line Megan would like to get a Zakspeed-style kit on the car.

It was refreshing to see a female owner in the mag.

As a female owner myself it was fantastic to see I was not the only one out there... I too would love a feature on my cortina in the magazine... I have worked really hard to learn how to work on the car... paid for a custom exhaust, lowered etc and would love to share my achievements with the Ford scene not only for people tp point out where I have gone wrong but see where I should go next!!!
