Good old Microsoft Atleast once its sorted they are going to offer a free arcade download Hopefully Sprocket won't be able to distroy me on that as well!

Is it an ethernet crossover cable? you need a crossover cable if you are connecting via your PC (Shared connection), if you have a router with a spare ethernet port then use that with the cable supplied with your xbox, this is the better way to do it, because you dont even have to have your PC on all your connection speed goes to the box

Xbox live is playing up at the moment, the servers are collapsing under the weight of new members from xmas (obviously Sony sold no PS3s again ). It should be made free soon!
