so £8k for the body.... if its just based on the chasse then there is a lot of work in that side to strip it down and get the kit to fit.. your looking around £1.5k prob closer to 2

 

you get back a full, rolling (and if you supply an engine, running) car....

 

then your have a v8 to find which your looking at £500 for a sluggish stock motor

No, not Sier.ra locks. Mustang doors, not a lot better i know, but i'd probably have it de-locked.

 

At the endof the day it's an aquired taste, but an opinion is never wrong as such my opinion is that it's foking cool.

Whilst you could buy this for just short of £12 import and registration will be around £1.5K.... its steel... its a real mustang... it doesnt look like eleanor.

 

It's also 40 years old, full on when it comes to maintainence, could be hiding a wealth of sins while having lived a rough life (and for 12k it might well have)

 

and its fookin gorgeous and im trying to think of a good reason not to buy one for when im 21

 

So is the dimensionally perfect replica which is so accurate that it wears steel Mustang doors, bonnet and boot any less aesthetically pleasing?
