mk1super Posted December 20, 2007 Report Posted December 20, 2007 I seen the Xr4Ti Mrkur now my question is if (And this is hypothetical)you could get your mits on that turbo Lima lump would it fit in a mk1/2 escort? And has anyone done this? Or would you be better off turbo charging a pinto?
Guest MK1gaz Posted December 20, 2007 Report Posted December 20, 2007 You can fit anything in anything if you have the time and money . They're bigger and heavier than a U.K. pinto but still fit in an escort no doubt . You can get them out to nearly 3 litres as well

It was Fast Car mag who did it, back in the days when it was a good mag around late 80's- early 90's I think. It's up in the loft somewhere (the mag, not the car )
