FredTransit Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 Don't you have classic insurance? Surely that's the cheapest insurance going. Think about it. if you get some plastic 90s thing for 300 quid, you still have to run it. You might as well add the cost of a cheapo car to your corty's insurance and keep the classic on the road.
Smudger105e Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 Mk2_Escort_Chick still has her Renault 5 I think...
sab6024 Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 Twas 25 when I tried to insure mine on Classic. Didn't bother in the end, doing too many miles
old skool freestyler Posted January 6, 2008 Author Report Posted January 6, 2008 thats the prob im look at close to 2 grand to incure it and i can afford it and i can blag a little car as a works car so they incure it
FredTransit Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 I didn't realise there was a lower age limit, I suppose being over 40 has it's attractions! How about being on as a second driver, would that be acceptable?
