V8ian Posted January 3, 2008 Report Posted January 3, 2008 Fronts will need large spavers making to get the wheel to clear the strut as the whells are a FWD offset, The rears will fit the rear without mods as far as I am aware, I had a pair on the back of my boys Mk1 for rolling round the garage Ian

dodgydoughnut Posted January 3, 2008 Report Posted January 3, 2008 ive got 3dr rims on my mk1, running ( i think) 15mm spacers on front and 10mm on back (could do with a bit more) dont rub and plenty of clearance, want to go back to 13 soon though

But have my eye on a set of diamond cut 3dr rims with tyres etc., which would mean bigger brakes available and cheap tyres also-i'm just trying to get as much as i can for the money-and i'm indecisive...
