The sad bit is i dont think he can even drive or has ever held a spanner
Trevmk3 Posted January 4, 2008 Report Posted January 4, 2008 did you tell him to join the site? as you say, you dont ask you dont get
bigglesmk2 Posted January 4, 2008 Author Report Posted January 4, 2008 I dont think he was even into old ford's.Just pure chance that the car he ended up with on his drive is an anglebox. Gonna leave it a while then try again
Mrs O/H/C Posted January 5, 2008 Report Posted January 5, 2008 GET SOME CASH TOGETHER...THEN KNOCK ON HIS DOOR WITH IT..MIGHT WORK !!
Smudger105e Posted January 5, 2008 Report Posted January 5, 2008 Full resto? Mine was just the outside, and not much rot, cost £3,000. Rot would add to the cost, plus any interior work (didn't touch that on mine).
escortmad79 Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 Depends what needs doing & who does the work. Front wings are stoopid amount of £££ from Expressed Panels, genuine NOS are none existant! Offer to take some pics of it & post a "what will it take/what's it worth" post on 105speed.com
orionmojo Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 you should've told him 10 - 12k, then he might have got cold feet and you could've made him an offer
