Why dry sump a road engine, and what's the capacity and how is it acheived if it's not a secret!!

as for dry sump then why not? i had so might as well use it as the cars early hotrod replica whitch all used dry sump x/flows. capacity is 1650cc fulley lightend biscuit flywheel old skool powermax pistons 85mm. head spec ******** . cam is kc ---
