i disagree, the guys know how to make cars, and for not alot you can get a car that will give you a hell of a lot of fun, id certainly have a skyline or a evo anyday of the week. im sure there are a few folkk on here who will agree

I don't mind what people own or drive, jap or otherwise. I'd have a Scooby or an Evo anyday but simply can't afford it in my job I've got a nasty Scorpio but it don't mean I'm getting rid of the Capri.

There is no more soul-less, uninspired, and derivative car industry on Urth than the japanese car industry. They can squeeze every bit of vigor even out of stuff like an NSX supercar. It screams bland. And piloting one is an experience in utter remoteness from the joy of driving. It has only gotten worse lately. Whatever "driver-ness" was instilled in the original Z-cars and RX's, it has trickled out, and now their successors are hermaphroditic bores. Fast, expensive, heavy bores.

I must admit im a fan of some jap crap,only some mind

Had two mk2 MR2's and they were the best car's i've ever driven.

Dont get me wrong OSF rule in my book,they were the car's i got brought up on and will alway's be my fav but the MR just gave the most driving pleasure.

Maybe i'll think diffrently when i get to drive an OSF with a propper engine

so hang on boggo subaru vs a 1.3 standard escort, thats 20 years old to boot? ive driven both for my last job and id happily drive the lazy boxer thanks ( if youre talking about 2 grand up on your standard escort engine then you can start to enjoy it)

 

well this is chit chat and you should read what you want here, i for one love watching crazy pulsars and mazda 3 hatches and early 70's skylines ragging it about and if i could afford one id be running an early skyline evo or scooby, as there crazy too drive
