thought id put up some pics of the mk 2 capri, bought off ebay for 600.

ill be replacing the pinto with an essex soon though and fitting an xpack as the rear arches arent that great anyway

Offside front damage i think.

 

tell me more mate, its probably the same car and its definately had a bump on the front drivers side

thats my old motor - got some info on it so pm me. damage was limited to just the wing!

 

small world, really pleased with car mate, i know its had a new wing but seems solid. im just starting to xpack it have you got any pics of yours

did you get the folder of pics that came with it. Although i never got the letter in the end one of the first owners it thought to be a movie star!

 

It did have a new wing after argueing with a tractor but to be honnest it needed one anyway (refubed headlamp bowl too). The engine was sweet as a nut when i had it but it spent 8 months laid up before i moved it on) I sill have loads of spares for it inc a new vinyl roof somewhere!

Its one of those capris you tend to avoid i think....its been "Sam,ed".... ha ha ha.....bent chassis anyone?

least mine has brakes! who prides themselves on being the best Capri mechanic yet actually managed to run his pads so far down that they fell out on the way to santa pod! oh and did that mean you couln't run deary me what is the world coming to!

 

(glyns a mate and yes i did twat 2 Capri's in 8 months!) Although the tractor incident wasn't my fault - he just kept going and took part of my car with him!

And as for fitting the mk2 x pack its quite easy untill you get to the fuel filler panel area....all i can say with that is good luck...on the genuine cars the flap hinged upwards, i found this out after i spent ages trying to figgure it out.
