tim Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 Not had any problems with MOT, they have a large base plate on the underside of the car, Cheers Dean not an mot issue but more a safety issue if you had a crash
Retromotorsport Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 Dean cracking car mate .. but i must warn you... if i see your car in the flesh i will be cutting those belts ... please move them, you will kill yourself in frontal impact .. as your flung forward the seat breaks .. as the belts are in the vertical plane its like dominoes .. you go forward and pull the seat and belts with you. Your face smashes into the steering wheel as your body carries on moving forward snapping your neck ... !!! Please please change the position of the rear anchors . Thast the MSA / FIA approved fittings .. also if the rear belts are longer than 18" form seat back to pick up points you should cross them over .
Andyboy Posted February 18, 2008 Report Posted February 18, 2008 I had a Status Quo Cooper S a couple of years back. Francis Rossi bought in in 1968 and sold it in @71. It was fully restored and is now in California.
