dodgydoughnut Posted January 20, 2008 Report Posted January 20, 2008 why are motorsportvision saying they have a retro ford track day for 40 cars at brands on there web site, and there is nothing on here about it???
dodgydoughnut Posted January 20, 2008 Author Report Posted January 20, 2008 just thought someone might have mentioned it on here?
4parajon Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 I asked Chris about the next RF track day at the Autosport show and he told me they were looking around March(ish), maybe Motorsport Vision have jumped the gun.
RFChris Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 No, that's most certainly us. 10th March, it's an all day affair too. So get to www.motorsportvision.co.uk and get booked on!
Guest MK1gaz Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 Good , another day of work then Hope it's not snowing
prefectopop Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 I'm shutting my business for the day and dragging the guys up - lucky that one of them has a '66 'Tina and the other a Fiesta ST, we'll call it teambuilding eh...

Guest MK1gaz Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 Cheeky fookers. Why's it more expensive!!!??? That's why everyone does drag racing instead
Mk 1 Mark Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 Cheeky fookers. Why's it more expensive!!!??? That's why everyone that does drag racing have short arms and long pockets unless in a comfy road car that is
RFChris Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 Cheeky fookers. Why's it more expensive!!!??? Whoah there, chill. The pricing isn't down to us. It's Motorsportvision. You have to bear in mind that March is a little more 'in season' too, which they replect in the price. We have tried to make it cheaper but with no joy, it truly is out of our hands sadly. Do bear one thing in mind though, there will be an extra hours driving as it will be lighter for longer by then, plus the weather should be a bit better. Chris

sambo Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 Is this a "RETRO" ford trackday only? or is there gonna be plastic there too? (like the November one).
Daggle Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 Is this a "RETRO" ford trackday only? or is there gonna be plastic there too? (like the November one). Taken direct from the website... "Here is your chance to join other Retro Ford Readers for a day of track driving exclusive to classic Ford vehicles.* " and then further down the page.... *Mk1 and Mk2 Escorts, Capris, Cortinas, Anglias, 100e/107e, Zephyr/Zodiacs, Falcon.
RFChris Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 Is this a "RETRO" ford trackday only? or is there gonna be plastic there too? (like the November one). Just Retro meatl here, the last one was a RF/PF event, hence the modern stuff.
