mossy Posted February 10, 2008 Report Posted February 10, 2008 would like to say thanks to the copper for giving us a warning beforehand! Also about my lights too! Maderia drive was packed and there was no where to stop...so everyone kinda made thier own ways and went home.
scotty86d Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 I bumped into a red anglia but got lost in traffic. what a crap night thanks to the police, not as if we'd have made any real noise in the group. we will have to arrange another meet soonish at a better location obviously as there are quite a few old fords kicking about in the area.
Bluesplus2s Posted February 14, 2008 Report Posted February 14, 2008 OH the round ones Just found this thread, I was working but would've made it if i'd known.

bazzil Posted March 17, 2008 Report Posted March 17, 2008 I'm up for devils dyke-it is only by daylight & it does get very busy up there!!! however I think there maybe a spot to meet, fairly quiet, off road parking and most importantly of all hopefully not get bothered by the boys in blue. It is a few miles west of brighton, postcode is bn14 1wd check it out let me know what you think!!!

bazzil Posted March 20, 2008 Report Posted March 20, 2008 says the postcode is incorrect mate...where abouts you talking? Basin road south, portslade. aint there loads of speed bumps down there now? Not been down that way for awhile, but if its somewhere out the way where peps can meet without getting hassled, is it not worth a try? what do think? I'm up for at least trying once see how it pans-out if we can get enough interest. After all where is there on the southcoast for a meet???
OldskoolSue Posted March 20, 2008 Report Posted March 20, 2008 Yeh im up for it, theres a car park right at the end and a cafe but im not sure if it would be open in the evenings, i'll come anyway
Bluesplus2s Posted March 20, 2008 Report Posted March 20, 2008 Shoreham Airport has been used in the past for an SEOC meet and it's off the beaten track for chavs and the old bill. I may be a little biased as I work there May be able to talk the airport manager into letting us park airside, in front of the terminal?
radar tech Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 do they still use madeira drive ??? that where i used to hang about back in the late 80's
