whats the legal requirements concerning the horm for the MOT,

 

my horn is currently two bare wires that i touch together

 

do i need it on a stalk, on the steering wheel. or anywhere on a push button?

Providing the horn is on a switch (of any sort) in an easy to spot position and you tell the MOT'er where it is it will pass the MOT.

I reconed I was the man with my dukes of hazard horns on my 1972 1275cc avenger back in the day

Must have got away with it then, the Mk1 amby passed on the dee dahs (they are labled 'Horn' as the standard one on the indicator stalk doesn't work!
