mk14dr Posted November 24, 2008 Author Report Posted November 24, 2008 Right folks, I'm hearing what everyone was saying last time about the weather, and ive had a change to this pub in mind for a while. Plenty of parking, good views and not too far from Redbeck... clicky for directions clicky for website So, if that aint too difficult I hope to see you all there... D
4parajon Posted November 25, 2008 Report Posted November 25, 2008 Would have liked to have gone to this but I'm down at the OSF xmas bash the night before, maybe the next one.
mk14dr Posted November 25, 2008 Author Report Posted November 25, 2008 Would have liked to have gone to this but I'm down at the OSF xmas bash the night before, maybe the next one. Yeah Jon, maybe the next one I don't think Ive seen you and your car since either Scotch corner, or when we all went over to wirral a couple of years ago (when I broke an engine mount and had to fix it in the carpark ) D

retroescort Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 has anyone got the pictures of the meet i know dave took some by way got the mk1 now it is awesome thanks dave
FlashCadillac Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 I might come to play in the mustang if iv got it sorted by then... where is it this time?
mk14dr Posted January 17, 2009 Author Report Posted January 17, 2009 I didn't take any useful pics, and the ones I did take are at home The meet is at the Crofton Arms, about 200yds down the road from Redbeck (other side of the railway bridge, on the left.) Pleasent, welcoming pub with a huge carpark. And If we park out front, we'll be able to see the cars while we sit inside Oh, and Cadillac, do you still have spud? and who the hell gave you a mustang What is it?? GhiaII/Fox body or classic? D
FlashCadillac Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 Oh, and Cadillac, do you still have spud? and who the hell gave you a mustang What is it?? GhiaII/Fox body or classic? D Lol... Spud is still around but has been shelved for the time being, im being made redundant and even though i have the money to throw at it to get it done mid season i can justify spending the money on it whilst me and my mum are both out of work... if it comes to it then spuds pot of money will become mortgage payments if my step dad doenst get enough work in so yeah its still hear but on a shelf the mustang is the donor car i bought for spud....1990 fox body with a 'lovely' body kit 5.7L / 347ci stroked ford small block, fully race built motor in california a couple of years back, bought the car with 12 monts MOT so i though i might as well use it this year, this is the only photo i have for now.. The stang is over in blackpool with the capri at the min so ill have to go over and pick it up before then... oh... and iv been told that i should really drive it in the wet as its a little lively, so if its raining then i might be in the mondeo
mk14dr Posted January 18, 2009 Author Report Posted January 18, 2009 nomnomnom I love fox body 'tangs. The bodykit is passable too That must be good for 400 rampaging stallions but lets face it, how lively could it be?? Theres YB'd mk1 escorts with 175/50's on bombing around in the wet D
FlashCadillac Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 We've guesstimateed around 430bhp, its the low down torque with a V8 that leaves it interesting in the wet. We'll see what i can do with getting it to the meet. Its going for a roll cage fitted at some point so it just depends on timing.
FlashCadillac Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 Bringing her home this sunday, so i should be at the northers meet. Going for cage some time early feb so it prob wont have it in at the meet... Just means i arn't going to look a fool falling over it getting out. Anyone else going?
johnny_h Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 Can you make it this coming sunday as were up there picking up the GMC. Oh go on!
