'but thats the same as scotch corner' I hear you cry... Well how about this, we meet up at redbeck at 12ish, then have a nice steady drive up to scotch corner for 2ish?? Ive already posted on RR, so we might have a pretty random convoy on our hands So, TALK TO ME FOLKS!! D yeah that sounds good, me and Sarah will bring the 2 escorts over to wakey and join the convoy to scotch corner

duttnut Posted August 1, 2008 Report Posted August 1, 2008 I'm really sorry I've missed the last few meets , I did really well and went to nearly every one since we began, but the last few months have been hectic. My MOT ran out on the Fiesta two months ago and I've only just had chance this week to get it back on the road. If it's not work or play, it's hay making! (I live on a farm you see) Anyway it looks like you've had some good turn outs and theres some great looking cars which I'm looking forward to seeing. Nice pics Dave, I think the scotch corner idea's a good one. I'm in if nothing else turns up.

For the folks still convoying up, the easiest way from Wakefield is straight up the A1. I will be at Redbeck as normal at 3pm if anyone else cant afford or make it to scotch corner D

It sound like some folks are meeting around 12ish to get up there for around 2ish ( it takes just over hour, but maybe factor in a little more for traffic around wetherby ) Im not going to scotch corner, so anyone else that isn't feel too flush, can pop along to the Redbeck at 3pm and Il be there, camera and coffee in hand D

GRR so if i dont get it sorted i might have to give it a miss too ill be up there for half 11 deffo driving up scotch corner though if im up there, look out for me =)

Just the ticket for standing in a carpark talking old cars Obviously we had a somewhat smaller turnout, what with Scotch Corner being on. But still a good couple of hours Not many I know, but pretty varied. Next one is SUNDAY 21st SEPTEMBER, and hopefully we'll have one or two more cars. D
