Mr Sam Posted February 7, 2008 Report Posted February 7, 2008 you tighten one up (the one next to the spring), then the other against it so they sort of lock together and dont move?
FlashCadillac Posted February 7, 2008 Author Report Posted February 7, 2008 yeah... i know the theory but when i turn the bottom one the one on top turns aswell... i might be different when there is a car sat on top of it i suppose
johnny_h Posted February 7, 2008 Report Posted February 7, 2008 yeah... i know the theory but when i turn the bottom one the one on top turns aswell... i might be different when there is a car sat on top of it i suppose lol. Turn the top one first. This sets the ride height then turn the bottom one so it is tight against the top one locking it in place.
mk1matt Posted February 8, 2008 Report Posted February 8, 2008 idealy you need two, one to hold the top ring and the other to turn the bottom ring to lock out on the top ring. hope this helps
sambo Posted February 8, 2008 Report Posted February 8, 2008 You'll find that you can actually hold the other one with your hand while you tighten the locking one.
H.P.E harry Posted February 8, 2008 Report Posted February 8, 2008 They look fooking lovely mate, how much did they cost? I just tightened mine with my hands! Done the trick though.
