rot around the windscreen

right have some rot in the panel were my windscreen is(cant think of proper name )was going to fill it like previous owner,but should i cut it out instead and try and make a new bit fot it,would i be takeing on a missoin to try and do the later part

do it properly and cut it back to fresh metal and weld some new in m8, might be looking for a scrapper with good bits and cut them out and weld them in on yours m8

got some scuttle panel bits cut out of scrap cars if you need some.

yeah, cut all the crap rust out and get some new metal in. even if you cant find a good s/hand panel or new panel, just make it up as best you can then profile it with filler which youd have to use anyway to finish it properlly. at the end of the day, you'll know its all good metal underneath it all and it should last a good long time
