mk2_boy Posted November 7, 2006 Report Posted November 7, 2006 ok so tomorrow, i'm going to have a look at(and hopefully buy) my next ride... and yes its old skool, now TBH i'm mk2 boy for a reason, i'm hopefully gonna be the owner of a mk2granada estate! old skool to the bone, proper! i'm so excited!!! i so hope its a good one! its MOT'd as well. going to be my daily driver and tow car too! gonna get looked after, i already have a set of pre-facelift sport wheels(GL type) and thats it! gonna get a re-paint etc gonna keep this one, its what i've been looking for, its 2.5 L mmmm... yummy!

mk2_boy Posted November 7, 2006 Author Report Posted November 7, 2006 lol no this one is gettin resto'd no matter what, no track for it, i'll let it sit in the shed for a hundred years b4 i let it be raced, diesels r hassle to race as the crossmember is different, so it all needs changing, i have been looking for a diesel granada for about 2 years, now i've found one, as long as its good, i'm havin it! though, i've got a tina that could do with some help lol
mk2_boy Posted November 9, 2006 Author Report Posted November 9, 2006 well for anyone who'd interested, i bought it, mk2 granada estate 2.5 diesel! old skool to the bone, not a rally spec escort, but that don't mean it's not cool... i got a couple of niggly things to do but its straight and solid... and i'm happy, its white so the couple of dents that it has r easy to sort... the worst bits are the seats at the front, and the bumpers, other than that i can't see it needing much other than up keep!!! i'll get pics at the weekend if anyone wants to see her.... will be proper cool. in fact, it is proper cool lol
