mk1super Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 Theres a few on here thay i think will go well, and Gaz's is one of em
Toby Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 Gaz - you wont run a 15 or a 14 or a 13 or a 12 if you spit your shafts all over the line. Also the twisted end of your 1100 shafts might well ruin your diff, sell the diff while it's still in one piece, what do you recon £2-300 towards a stronger set up? There's going to be lots of people pushing your car to start it, you don't want to disappoint them all by breaking it on the line!! best moustache
Guest MK1gaz Posted February 21, 2008 Report Posted February 21, 2008 I won't be launching hard mate anyway , i'll just pull off sharpish instead which normally gets me a 2.0sec 60 foot which is good enough and cheaper than a new diff and two-piece shafts at £800

Should have saved a few quid and left a 1600 CF in it!! Your racing the clock mate - what are you on about?? Getting your excuses rehersed?
Guest MK1gaz Posted February 21, 2008 Report Posted February 21, 2008 According to my calculations if i just do my normal 2.0sec 60 foot light launch then i won't break anything and will still hit my 13.5sec target time

Guest MK1gaz Posted February 21, 2008 Report Posted February 21, 2008 I could try a hard launch and fill the Pod with smoke instead . In the confusion a telescopic pole with a flag on the end will shoot out my front panel and hit the light beam 50 feet before i reach the finish and flash up a 12.5 !!!!!!!

Or get wobbly wheels and doors that fall off. Oh and one of those squeazy horns!! Floppy shoes. You know it makes sense!
Guest MK1gaz Posted February 21, 2008 Report Posted February 21, 2008 Don't need wobbly wheels mate , everything just falls off anyway !!!!!!!!
Copey Posted February 21, 2008 Report Posted February 21, 2008 everything just falls off anyway !!!!!!!! is weight reduction not cheating??
mk1super Posted February 21, 2008 Report Posted February 21, 2008 everything just falls off anyway !!!!!!!! is weight reduction not cheating?? No thats the car having a mind of its own and deciding to overrule Gaz moral stand point
Billy RS2000 Posted February 21, 2008 Report Posted February 21, 2008 I've always liked that car mate looks the nuts i might come pod and watch you then i would have brung mine atmo cossie MK2 but i went pod 2 weeks ago and i rattle it. what BHP is yours mate? I'd say it was a draw gaz side by side all the way Well as long as the weather's good I'll be there. Was 225bhp at Track n Road in Cossiematt's car. I read about your engine, hope it's not too bad. Known about your car for years and would love to see it in the flesh. You will mate it will be back soon very soon. 225 bhp thats King good mine made 220 bhp at sanspeed
Guest MK1gaz Posted February 21, 2008 Report Posted February 21, 2008 Track n Road reads silghtly higher than Sanspeed so 225bhp over there is about 222ish bhp at Sanspeed probably .

Guest MK1gaz Posted February 21, 2008 Report Posted February 21, 2008 it's true though mate , Sanspeed reads a bit lower than track n road as confirmed by Darran Moss and boxxer recently
