Update from the rollers

After Andy not being pleased with the 220bhp from his old engine he got busy and built himself another pinto ready for hal far. My brother see him out in it yesterday with the new engine in and said 'that definately goes alot better!'. Anyway he took it to the rollers today and managed 220bhp on the first run, after fiddling about with it for a while and getting back on the rollers it then put out 234bhp! My brother told me there still up there trying to get more out of it! Roll on the santa pod meets

Just been informed harry it made 236 bhp it was not the 240 figure andy was hoping for but he says he can squeeze another 4 bhp but not before malta because he has no time to pull it apart and get back to the rollers before he leaves but it is still andys best bhp so he is really happy

Thats just unreal, think ill be after one of those engines when i get my hands on a bit more money. Wont be for another couple of years though!

I have been informed the horsepower was a bonus but Andy likes the way the power reacted and even peter from the rolling road said its an really unusual pinto but good.

Well, Malta weather can be a little unpredictable in March so you may be right Better keep your fingers crossed mate
