antz Posted March 6, 2008 Report Posted March 6, 2008 you earn a shit load of money a year jeez id dress up ina clown suit and and do get smacked in the face with pies all day if it means i got that wage
bmxdave Posted March 6, 2008 Report Posted March 6, 2008 When ive finished my apprenticeship, after 4 years of hard work my wage is about £16-17,000 a year. The drivers are on almost as much for what takes two weeks to qualify for. £17k is quite a lot when your 21. But how the hell can i afford my own house, aswell as nice cars if im living by myself? I simply cant. Thats why im leaving. The company doesnt give a fook about us so why should we give a fook about them? They gauranteed a job for me at the end aswell but now the best ill get is a driver, which isnt the job they promised me. In 5 years time, when they have a major major labour shortage (70% of current staff will have reitred by then) i wont be going back, unless im getting £25k. If i can get it somewhere else then why should i stay there?
X-pack-Glyn Posted March 6, 2008 Author Report Posted March 6, 2008 you earn a shit load of money a year jeez id dress up ina clown suit and and do get smacked in the face with pies all day if it means i got that wage I bet you get to spend 10 times as much on your old ford than i can afford to, my mortgage payments are 900 a month and then the CSA want thier chunk too... my advice to you is live with your parents as long as you can and stay away from them women, by the time your 30 you will be loaded, too late for me now, i left home at 15 and shacked up with various women that fleeced me dry
