Pipster007 Posted March 18, 2008 Report Posted March 18, 2008 Needless to say, the whole weekend for me started in a severely drunken manner at the Cheltenham Festival on Friday My mate had tickets from William Hill bookies, which entitled me to free entrance, Champagne, Guinness and food all day. Needless to say I lorded it up like a toff. Then Saturday, it was England v Ireland at Twickenham .....................Another drunken day. Still we thought we better let England win, as they hadn't won in 5yrs Sunday was my sister-in-laws birthday, so we had to carry on with the alcohol themed weekend Which then finally led to a day in O'neills in Wimbledon. Not my favorite chain of pubs, but they did have a bit of the old diddly eye music So today, it was a case of what do I do.......................A 30 mile cycle and lots of water soon answered that question. But I for one will be wearing an England rugby shirt on the 23rd April (How many people are checking their diaries to see what day that is) and be in a pub drinking some of London's finest Pride ale , while having a roast beef dinner...................................or should it be a curry nowadays as the national dish of England
