master cylinders.

does anyone know where i can get a brand new master cylinder from for a standard mk2 escort servo.?my local motor factors can get them in but there like 95 quid.seen one on ebay for 35 but its a non girlin type and the break lines are on the opposite side.

 

please help.

the rally des and burtons ones do not fit mate as far as i rememeber, the drilling centres are different to the servo (there not advertises as fitting escorts so its fair enough i suppose!).

 

cant you replace the seals or is it really dead? sets of seals are easy enough to come by.

the original one was leaking fluid back thorugh the servo.so i suppose the seals have had it,but i cant seem to get inside it,i thought it was a sealed unit.i bought a used one and its rusted up inside and is not pumping fluid thorogh the lines.i think ime gonna have a good look to see if i can get inside it cus ive seen repair kits on ebay

yup brought one for me mk1 from burtons the other day 30 quid, had it on the shelf
