hotrodholty Posted March 26, 2008 Report Posted March 26, 2008 although iv been a member for a good while now i have never used the readers rides section, long over due but iv got an hour to kill in work sop here goes. i got the escort when i was 16 (1998) for £600 it was a bog standard 1100. over the years it has slowly progressed to where it is now. engine: 1600x/flow, twin choke, 4 branch, ashley twin box, magnetronic ignition, gt head ported and polished, samco hose's, pacet fan, 4 speed 1600 sport box. brakes/suspension front are willwood 4 pots, drilled/grooved and vented disc's, mk2 rs200 struts with 160lbs 1" springs, 2" lowering blocks on rear with spax adjustables and polybushed throughout interior back seat in the bin, half rear cage, cossie leather recaro's, monster tach on dash, alloy centre console, moutney wheel. exterior vistsa orange paint, genuine mex wings, carbon fiber front bib spoiler, halogen h4's, 1/4 bumpers, bullet mirrors,laser alloys stripped polished and centres painted black, black and whit pressed ally plates and of course the obligatory osf stickers front and rear iv got big plans this year for it and have the following sitting at home waiting for some better weathert to get stuck in: new carpet set, twin pod dash, centre console, anglia axle, single leafs, atb lsd, refurbed 9" drums, anti-tramp kit, anti dive kit, new door skins, stainless oil catch can, peep mirrors, fiberglass bonnet and my new wheels and tyres topped off with a fresh lick of paint. now all i need is a garage and a month off work [/img] [/img] [/img]
